I am a marketing professional from Canada who had Duodenal Switch surgery with Dr. Marek Lutrzykowski in March 2008. DS Facts is a passionate hobby for me and is in no way affiliated with any organization or business.

This site was created from a desire to compile and preserve the most informative and helpful advice from veteran DS post-ops based on their experience.

The concept of referencing clinical data was incorporated to enhance the credibility of the information being presented. It is my way of correcting the misinformation about Duodenal Switch circulating on the internet.
